Priority Focus for the 2025 – 2026 School Year
Instructional Focus Statement:
We will build teachers’ capacity to implement a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) by offering targeted professional development on analyzing student data, designing structured 4–6 week intervention cycles, and facilitating WIN (What I Need) centers. Teachers will continue to implement explicit instructional practices in their core HMH Instruction.
Principal Priority Statement:
By fostering a consistent schoolwide approach to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), we aim to ensure that all students receive the level of instruction and intervention they need, understand what they are learning, how they are learning it, and why it is important, ultimately improving both engagement and learning outcomes for all student.
Vision
To create a culturally immersive learning experience where students are given a pathway to college and career readiness through lasting partnerships and collaborations with the community. To provide families with an inclusive learning experience that builds community and offers a voice for concerns and needs. To provide teachers with the tools necessary to create an enriching learning experience for students and families that incorporates culturally responsive teaching which is aligned to values and code of ethics of the school.
Mission
To provide culturally immersive learning experience where instruction is rigorous and incorporates multi-tiered systems of support to target learning needs of the community in order to grow students academically, culturally, and socially.
